I agree with you on a lot of things here. I always felt that bobo under
performed against average teams and when the spotlight was brighter, he wilted. It felt like most nationally televised games were eggs being laid by him and the three bowl loses were terrible ways to end the season against inferior (IMO) teams and 8-5 looks much better than 7-6 to me.
... And this will be my last post about bobo unless someone really provokes me.
Looking at his 2016 season I didn't recall the teams that beat him were all actually good: CU 9 wins, Minn 10 wins, Wyo 8 wins, BSU 10 wins, AFA 10 wins, and Idaho 9 wins. Unfortunately what I do remember is 1) the CU game where CSU got their ass kicked 7-44 and I think CU could have scored 75 that day. I've never seen a team so ill-prepared than CSU was... And 2) the Idaho bowl game.
