26 players listed as SR, RS SR, or Grad student. Six of those appear to me


to be eligible for a Covid year if they want it. That takes it to 20. Three of those are kickers, so 17. It looks worse than it is because most of those 17 will likely be starters, but that's not an abnormally high number for attrition in CFB. It's also not unusual to have a lot of seniors starting.

A lot of the upperclassmen are Bobo recruits, which translates well to JN's style of play. He's going to have to weed through/coach up a bunch of Daz recruits (already has to some extent) that don't fit the new system, but the players he's bringing in look pretty damn impressive. Give these young guys 2 years to develop while he burns through the current upperclassmen, and we might not miss a beat. If only they can block.
