Maybe he was to get a post grad degree…

At another school. There are all sorts of reasons. He had a good run. He played 4 years at csu. Time to move on.

Use that 5th covid year to jump start a masters degree at your choice school. Or go for some cash. Or go play with a friend or brother at another school. All legitimate reasons and we have seen many players do the same.

Good for him!
