So RB has some solid options now. OL and LB are the worries?

New guys, but I think we’ll be in a decent place.

Here is my order of question marks.

1. OL
2. Coaching
—————
3. LB
4. ST
5. TE
6. CB

My limited knowledge breakdown:

QB : Returning CM. 72% completion %, 10/6 TD/Int. High completion % didn’t mean a lot when were were throwing backward though. Still a solid, fairly tested piece. And then a slew of other partially played QBs which we wouldn’t have a ton of confidence in, but have at least seen playing time.

RB: Johnson (NDSU) and Henderson (HS). Morrow possibly. Could be completely new from last year, but Johnson should bring some leadership into the room.

WR: Horton and Ross-Simmons. Not too worried here. Hopefully Ross-Simmons takes advantage of single coverage and has a nice year.

TE: Holker and Brown? We may still need a lot of blocking from our TEs.

OL: Lawrence was a big get. With Garder at C, we should be improving, but with likely 4 new transfer starters I am not predicting success yet. Hopefully some of our HS recruits pan out and stick so we can get some consistency in this position. These 4 guys are pretty much the difference in a winning and losing season this year.

DL: Losing our top Dline tackler in Onyechi, but bring back our next top 4, including sack leader Kamara. Should be a stronger position for us with some good experience.

LB: Losing top LBs Jackson and Carter, but bring back both rotational players in Kulick and Wilson. Could be a weaker position, but returning players should at least ensure some consistency with the scheme.

CB: Some returning faces: Anusiem, Hector, Hardge, but some turnover too. Don’t have a great pulse on this one, but hopefully at least like LB some consistency within the system.

S: Howell and Blackburn. Great experience here.

ST: K: Katleman? P: PT. No real faith in this position right now. Not sure about returner.

Coaching: I like JN, but also thought he was not good at adapting to his situation last year. I understand how important Oline is, but really just expected more from an Offensive guy. That was frustrating to say the least. I like him as a team CEO, but still unsure about playcalling. May be more moot this year if we can actually run the ball into the endzone and protect our QB for more then .5 seconds.

So many transfers in and out, what did I miss? Probably a good deal honestly.
