Good Morning Ramnation - 8/2/2023, one step closer to relevance? or not?

Pac12 expansion......all we got right now is crickets. usually we hear "something of a leak" or info.....not even a whisper!

I saw a scenario where CSU was rated 4th on a list of 5 programs to potentially be invited to join the PAC12. SDSU/BOISE/SMU were the first 3.

I saw another scenario.....YouTuber goofball show saying.....
if MtnWest stays a conference and at a watered down level.....a scenario where smaller schools, like Eastern Washington, UNC, North Texas, Sam Houston St and some of those type of schools would be invited to the Mtn West.......uggggh!

If that occurred and CSU was part of a conference like that.....that would be devastating to the program, to us as fans and would be hard to get halfway decent coaching staffs to FtC.

The rumored Apple TV deal for Pac12 running on the ESPN ticker last nite......well.....i am not a fan of the streaming thing, but i understand the concept and the $$$ behind it. But only Die Hards would stream or atleast pay to stream. Wide spread viewership would not occur with any streaming service - just seems like a tough spot for the Pac12 to survive without a major network supporting it.

just my 2 cents......not a GREAT scenario or stable business model for PAC12 for any school that joins. Roll the dice mentality.
