So you know better than Josh who's best RB he experienced??
You & guys like you are just incredible !! You know it all better than those who've experienced it personally, 1st hand.

And somehow you focus on trying to Correct Josh, vs. digging to try to UNDERSTAND his very surprising yet Deep thoughts on this subject.

Geeze.... listen to the Man in the arena!!!

OK... you want my humble opinion on this?
Of course the Culture issue is somewhat real, and please listen to Izzy's entire statement in full context. If I remember right, he mentioned 2 things in the Culture context... 1 can be laid at Bobo's door (continuously starting of a "cancer" or cancers), the 2nd is not MB's fault (the elegant Canvas spoilage of players). These 2 things are common knowledge issues that Coaches/CEO's have to reckon with.

The Canvas is a known balance that must be struck between Pride instilled during recruitment vs Entitlement. Do ya think MB's not aware of this & constantly working to dial the right balance in w/ his Team?? Daah.

So you're MB, you have a uber-hi-po player who's continued starting (or demotion) could be pivotal in continuing/extending the HH-MG string of CSU Passing Game successes going to the NFL. Break that string could thus affect yer word of honor on the Recruiting trail (the grapevine is swift), yer season's record (like it or not the cancer's the best ya got on the field), & yer ability to place this cancer in the NFL highly (it's the fastest & bestest way to get him gone), & the certain or probable team Culture damages caused (because no player is supposed to be above "team").

Of course no Player (including Izzy) is seeing the tension that MB sees in his decision tree, during a massive adversity-plagued disaster of a Season... and which tension includes many other Factors not even mentioned here.

So beat the Drum that Bobo's team has culture issues... what team coming off a horribly disappointing season of Losing doesn't have some of those "Culture Issues" to fix? But be careful of failing to understand that CEO's must make these type of catch22 "Trade-Off" decisions at key points in time, and while the Program & Players are the largest concern, so are the Stockholders (Fans). Remember, that cancer won us some very needed games and almost helped Rams beat a highly ranked team. So I reckon that after taking counsel w/ a few (there's wisdom in the multitude of such counsel), MB decided to personally take the bullet in '18... with the gamble/hope that he personally would recover & could fix the Cultural issues in '19 & '20 and beyond.

BTW, some of these trade-off decisions may still need to be made,,, until we have the program rebuilt and have the Depth of Talent necessary to never Start or continuously play a cancer... until he turns his attitude around.

I suggest that wise Fanatics of the Rams recognize that we're massively un-informed & ill-suited to throw stones at the only HC we have, who has shown uber competence, competitiveness, toughness, and integrity farrrr beyond any of his detractors. 80's, SFR, RMex, RQ, Irish, DaRams, and the other silly Dunerpates are about 1/2 the man Bobo has proven to be, and 1/1,000,000th of the HC that Bobo is. They can only criticize & try to mock the man in this Arena! What a bunch of jack-asses they are.

Just my thoughts. Yers???

Who do you think Josh Watson feels is the best player he's ever faced?
Q: Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
A: James Robinson RB from Illinois State

This is a shocking statement to me, but that's what he's quoted as saying. I believe he's faces several RBs better, much better, than James Robinson.

Nor has Izzy been the only former player to bring up the culture issue.

Well to be fair the "culture conspiracy" as you put it
Was from a key player on the Rams. So it's not total BS

I believe the parking pass in the no donation lots is still $100
I remember last year getting charged for the lot and then I making my required donation at a later date. Are you getting those two things mixed up?

No reason he can't make someone's

And we're finally in the best shape since JM, to compete in every phase...
You want to talk Fball like rational & knowledgable former players? Lets try to do that.

However if you want to simply tout the Losses of a team who's D has struggled mightily under ME due to Recruiting woes & injuries under ME tracing back to his days as JM's DC. All of which is under a successful re-build since ME was fired, in case you hadn't noticed as a former Player. Or do you just want to inflame the simple minded Mob who knows no better?

And the Barney's and their Culture conspiracies... you (as a former player) should know better than to follow this lynch mob mentality. Any disappointing Losing season, especially a season that is FILLED w/ major unexpected adversities, brings out the worst (and often the most off-base) comments & attitudes in every team.

Tyson was a great DC hire by Bobo. So good it got Tyson a HC job. Tyson leaving for that HC gig @ Ga So, seriously hurt the continued building of the Rams D under Bobo. And I certainly understand Bobo's decision to move ME into the DC slot again (after his success under JMac + the good job ME did under Tyson coaching the LB's + the salary constraints caused by Friend's $500k) and trying to maintain CONTINUITY. But that decision failed. Who among has not made decisions that seemed very logical & safe, and watched them disappoint and ultimately FAIL? It happens to the best, as HC or CEO.

Yet Bobo didn't bail out for the NFL job (as QB Coach & backup OC should Sarkisian fail, which he did), or any other opportunities. He faced up & dug in to FIX the problem of his own making. That requires guts & humility.

So I challenge you to go back & review those 4 2017 late season losses, and tell me where the problems were... as a wise objective observer. It was all about the D and it's Injuries (lack of Depth w/ Talent & Experience), as the O contributed more than its fair share to Win those games.

Well. I did hear they got the ball back from Air Force.
So they had that going for them this year.

Which is nice.

I would submit though, Sir, that being ranked in the bottom 10-15% in most defensive
statistics is not a fixed defense.

The following link, Sir, may be of some usefulness as a broad statistical reference
to how the Colorado State Rams Defense ranks in it's peer group of Division One Schools.

Keep in mind, this is just anedotal.

They probably will sell out, but not everyone with NBP passes will renew, meaning some will be available at first.

Buy a $5 ticket.

XNA is the Northwest Arkansas regional Airport
It has direct flights daily by the big 3 airlines. Very nice and convenient to the area. Tulsa and Joplin can be cheaper but are a 2 hour drive
